Plug the included ethernet cable into the ethernet port on your Pogoplug and the other into any available ethernet port on your router.

Now plug your Pogoplug into a wall socket, or available socket in a power strip.

Did the LED lights on your Pogoplug turn on? If not, your power strip may not be connected to a power source, or the power cable may not be connected to your Pogoplug.

Now let's verify that your Pogoplug is able to connect to the internet and communicate with the Pogoplug service.

Look for the unique identifier (26 numbers and letters), and type it in below:

Now it's time to connect your external hard drive. Take the USB cable that came with your hard drive and connect one end into the hard drive, and the other into the USB port on your Pogoplug. If your hard drive has its own power source, please make sure that it is connected and turned on.

Congratulations! Your Pogoplug setup is almost complete. Please provide your email address and a password below. Your email address and password will be used to access your Pogoplug enabled device from both inside and outside of your home.
